New Michigan State grad transfer quarterback talks school, competition, and influences

I caught up with new Spartan Quarterback, Anthony Russo, and asked him why MSU, what he brings to the field, and who helped him get here.

Q1. As a grad transfer coming in from Temple, what made you choose Michigan State to finish out your college career?

Russo: I thought MSU gave me the best opportunity to develop myself both on and off the field.

Q2: What unique traits do you feel that you bring to Michigan State as a quarterback?

Russo: I think I am a hard worker and good leader which are two key traits for a good quarterback.

Q3: What are some of your biggest influences in the football world?

Russo: My biggest influence is definitely my family…I come from a very close family and everything I do is for them.
