New Mexican restaurant Mezcal announces opening date for city centre venue

Good news, Mexican food lovers - the new kid on the block is about to open its doors in Glasgow's city centre.

Mezcal, which is opening on 104 Hope Street, is set to serve up Mexican-inspired street food and margaritas and much more!

Named after the popular Mexican alcohol made from Agave, this place has been on our radar for a while now, so we're thrilled that it's finally opening its doors.

The official launch date for the taqueria and bar is Friday, September 27 - less than a week away.

You can take a look at their full food and drink menu online here .

Bosses previously said: "Mezcal, opening this September on (104) Hope Street will serve up contemporary Mexican inspired street food - and of course, a wide range of cocktails from Margarita’s to Horchata!

"Taking its name from Mexico’s smokey staple spirit, Mezcal, the restaurant will bring an authentic taste of the country’s party capital to Glasgow city centre.

"Think tacos, mezcal, live DJ’s and neon lights galore!

"Are you ready for a fiesta?"

We don't know about you, but we can't wait to head down to sample those tacos and tequila selection!
