New Meghan biography promises to 'set the record straight'

Celebrity biographer Sean Smith has written a “pioneering” biography on Meghan Markle in order to “set the record straight,” according to a press release about the upcoming book.

This won’t be the first royal biography Smith has written, as he also penned Kate: Unauthorized in 2011.

Smith said that after watching the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey he “immediately wanted to know how it had come to this.”

The book is titled Meghan Misunderstood to encapsulate why “the most charismatic member of the Royal Family” has felt targeted.

The biography promises to not hold back when discussing “the most talked about, unfairly vilified and misrepresented woman in the world.”

A press release from Harper Collins, the book’s publisher, states that the book will cover the extraordinarily accomplished life of Meghan Markle before she married into the Royal Family.

It promises to also feature the romance of Harry and Meghan's relationship and the drama that followed their wedding in May 2018.

The couple has made Los Angeles, California their home since announcing they would be stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family.

While they are living in LA, they have continued to stay connected to charitable causes they support in England through Zoom calls and letters.

Earlier this week, the youth charity StreetGames shared a note sent to them by Meghan and Harry for their work getting food to those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
