New McDonald's drive-thru plans submitted for Bothwell

Plans have been submitted to bring a McDonald’s drive-thru to Bothwell Services.

Applicant Roadchef House have formally applied to South Lanarkshire Council for permission to build the  two-storey drive-thru restaurant at the M74 southbound site, just off Fallside Road in the village.

The proposal also includes alterations/reconfiguration of the car park.

Whilst the application is in the early stages it is expected to go before the council’s planning committee in the coming months.
