New Manchester United kit: 'Leaked' 2020-21 away shirt splits opinion among fans

Manchester United fans appear divided in their opinions on a 'leaked' away kit for the 2020-21 campaign.

Latest images of what some claim to be next season's change strip emerged on social media on Sunday, though it is worth stressing that nothing is confirmed at this stage, with no announcement yet made regarding United's kit for 2020-21 from either the club or manufacturers Adidas.

That has certainly not stopped supporters from debating the quality of the latest rumoured design, however, with the colour in particular appearing to cause some confusion from the initial pictures.

The shirt in question is described as being "legacy green" and features a very distinct pattern as well as white badges, familiar Chevrolet sponsor and traditional white three-striped Adidas shoulder trim.

While some fans questioned whether the kit was actually green at all, others seemed to think it represented a marked improvement on other unconfirmed templates.

One fan even compared the pattern to the famous pulsar artwork that adorns the cover of the 1979 album 'Unknown Pleasures' by iconic Manchester band Joy Division.

After 13 years with Nike, United signed their current lucrative ÂŁ750million, 10-year deal with Adidas back in 2014.

Their seven-year sponsorship contract with American car giants Chevrolet, meanwhile, is due to expire at the end of next season.
