New Manchester United kit: Fresh images of ‘leaked’ 2020-21 shirt which ‘looks like bus seat’

Fresh pictures have emerged on social media claiming to show Manchester United’s new kit for next season – with fans likening it to a bus seat.

The ‘leaked’ images show new details of what will supposedly be United’s home shirt for the 2020/21 campaign, though neither the club, nor German manufacturer Adidas have yet confirmed the new look.

The image in question features a shirt with the traditional red base, splattered with a pattern of small black and yellow block lines. The design has a white collar and sleeve trim with the iconic Adidas three stripes only stretching across the shoulders, rather than all the way down the arm.

The strip retains US car giant Chevrolet as its principle sponsor, with the partnership due to run out in 2021, while American manufacturer Kohler have sleeve sponsorship rights.

While one fan made the bus jibe, another tweeted: “I think London Underground want their seat cover design back.”
