New Love Island bombshell Rachel enters villa after first recoupling

In another twist of events, Love Island has introduced another contestant, Rachel Finni.

Friday night's episode saw the first dramatic re-coupling of the series with the girls having the power to choose.

With five lasses and 7 lads, two islanders were set to become single.

After late arrival Chloe Burrows decided to couple up with her friend, Hugo Hammonds, Northumberland labourer Brad McClelland and business owner Chuggs Wallis were left standing solo.

Until the pair received a text which would decide their fate.

The text said how they were both single and their position within the sun soaked villa was at risk.

It would be Rachel Finni who had the power to save one of the lads.

Who is Rachel Finni?

Rachel is a 29-year-old luxury travel specialist from London.

She describes herself as very independent saying: "I don’t rely on anyone for anything. I’m very caring and spontaneous and creative."

She is looking for a "modern" day relationship in which she wouldn't rely on her partner.

Rachel added: "I don’t need a man for anything. I can buy my own home and take care of myself. I just love knowing I have another person there that I’m going through life with."

When asked why she wanted to be a part of this year's show, she responded: "It’s a combination of two things - I’ve always been a fan of the show and it’s a great experience, you meet great people. I’m someone who loves to live my life to the best."

Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
