New Love Island beauty Rachel Finni 'doesn't need a man' and is 'very independent'

Love Island’s latest beauty has declared that she doesn’t “need a man for anything”.

New arrival Rachel Finni, 29, told her fellow contestants that she’s “very, very independent”.

The luxury travel consultant, who entered the villa at the very end of Friday’s episode, said: “I don’t rely on anyone for anything.

“I’m very caring and spontaneous and creative.

“I love the way modern relationships are. I don’t need a man for anything. I can buy my own home and take care of myself. I just love knowing I have another person I’m going through life with.”

Rachel, who will get to choose whether Brad McClelland or Chuggs Wallis stay on the show after they have 24 hours to win her love, admits she does have standards, though.

She said: “As long as you are sexy, smell nice, don’t bite your nails or chew loudly, have me. I’ve scraped the bottom of the dirtiest barrels – that’s how I describe my dating life.”

Before the show, Rachel told how she was a big fan of Love Island.

“It’s a great experience, you meet great people,” she said.

Viewers and contestants were shocked when she strode through the villa gates on Friday following a dramatic evening which saw the first recoupling of the series.

Northumbrian labourer Brad, 26, and Chuggs, 23, were left out in the cold after failing to be picked by any of the ladies.

Businessman Chuggs, from Surrey, was seen arriving in the house with Welsh brickie Liam Reardon, 21, so then there were seven boys and five girls.

Clearly, it meant two islanders would soon to be partnerless.

Some pairs remained together after Friday’s show – Liberty Poole with Jake Cornish, and Kaz Kamwi keeping Toby Aromolaran.

But civil servant Sharon Gafka ditched PE teacher Hugo Hammond, choosing Aaron Francis instead. The pair had earlier enjoyed a sneaky kiss.

That left PA Chloe Burrows single. She previously poached Aaron from Shannon Singh, who left the show earlier in the week.

Chloe then paired up with Hugo.

Meanwhile, Faye Winter swapped Brad for new hunk Liam Reardon.

There has been extra drama this week as Shannon’s early eviction saw Chloe subjected to trolling online.

Her friends and family revealed some of the horrific abuse she had received – and reminded people to be kind.
