New Look shoppers red-faced after noticing bizarre design flaw with 'beautiful £20 summer outfit'

Retail giant New Look is a favourite on the UK high street when it comes to summer outfits.

The fashion brand has thousands of summer outfits to choose from - with gingham prints, floral dresses and accessories like sunglasses starting at as little as £1.99.

New Look currently has a 40% off sale on popular summer styles, so you can get ready for a BBQ, night out at the pub or a picnic in the park on a budget.

This weekend New Look posted a picture of a 'dreamy' orange long summer dress, complete with black sandals.

The photo on their Instagram was captioned: "Girls just want to have sun. And new dresses to show off at every given opportunity."

The shoes in the picture are " Black Patent Double Buckle Chunky Sliders", which retail at £19.99.

Also featured was the O range Square Neck Frill Tiered Smock Midi Dress - which costs £22.99, and is available in loads of different colours.

Shoppers were loving it, according to My London.

One comment read: "This is a beautiful outfit".

Another said: "Love this outfit such a summer essential for your wardrobe".

But another shopper pointed out a bizarre design flaw of the sandals.

They said: "I got me and my daughter these sandals are they are noisy. deflate air each step"

Another shopper agreed.

It seems if you wear them, everyone will hear you coming. This might not be the reason you were hoping to turn heads this summer.
