The new owners of Wales' tallest office building, Capital Tower, have revamped two floors in a move designed to appeal to the growing number of creative and tech firms in the city.
Trinova Real Estate has fitted out the vacant suites in the 25-storey building at Greyfriars Road in the centre of Cardiff with exposed ceilings, vinyl floors and a contemporary style.
Trinova acquired Capital Tower for £25m last September. The offices are being marketed by joint agents Knight Frank and Fletcher Morgan.
Mark Sutton, partner in the office agency team of Knight Frank in Cardiff said: “A multi-million pound refurbishment of the office building was carried out last year, including a new reception and coffee shop, new high speed destination management lifts and refurbishment of several of the upper floors, that were subsequently let.
“Now these two suites have been upgraded including the introduction of the latest air conditioning systems.”
Sam Resouly of Trinova said: “We are excited by the emergence of the capital's creative and technology sector and believe this new look at Capital Tower will add an exciting and dynamic product to the city as well as providing some of the best views in Cardiff.”
John James of Fletcher Morgan said: “Capital Tower is already home to a number of creative and technology firms including Yard Digital, DevOps and Object Matrix.”
Other occupiers at the 124,375 sq ft building include the Secretary of State, Admiral Insurance, the AA, Allianz, Dolmans Solicitors and The Law Society and opportunities remain for occupier requirements between 2,000 sq ft an 11.000 sq ft.
