New Look shoppers have been left puzzled after the fashion giant shared an image of its newest summer dress.
Writing on Instagram,"Ready for our close up in mood-boosting florals", the retailer posted to Instagram a close up shot of a floral blue and yellow mini dress, modelled by influencer Lauren Crowe.
Quickly gaining attraction, shoppers were captivated by the dress, MyLondon reports, many tagging friends to share their new find.
One wrote: "How cute is this dress?" Tagging a pal.
Another commented: "This dress is amazing!" adding multiple love eye emojis.
"LOOK at this!" One excited fan tagged her mate.
Another avid shopper said the print on the summer dress was "stunning".
One described the dress as "perfect for the summer," while another said the garment was "very pretty".
However, some beady-eyed New Look fans noticed something unusual about the dress as it appeared in the photo, with lots of comments bringing up that it looked different on the retailer's website.
"I love this dress but it doesn't fit anything like this picture," said one shopper. "It's actually quite loose and a regular fit, even sizing down. Wish it did fit like this."
There were other comments asking for the link as they couldn't find the piece online.
One replied, tagging New Look directly: "I think people can’t find the dress is because it’s nothing like the dress you’re showing here"
Another suggested the model might be using a crocodile clip, writing: "Is this the classic crocodile clip at the back cos it looks nothing like this on the website?"
Lauren Crowe, the model in the photo, denied using a clip and suggested the model on the website could be wearing a bigger size.
"I took the photo and there are no clips in the back," she commented. "I’m wearing a size 8 and I can only assume the model on the website is wearing a bigger size."
The photo on Instagram shows the dress tight fitting and about three quarters above the knee and a fold at the ribcage.
Online, the dress appears less figure hugging and a couple of inches above the knee. The website states that the model is wearing a size 10 dress.
