New Liverpool kit 19-20 revealed: Reds release pictures of home shirt for next season

Liverpool have unveiled their new look for the 2019-20 campaign.

The retro strip, which pays tribute to club legend Bob Paisley 100 years on from his birth, includes pin stripes down the front and a white trim.

The kit is a throwback to the iconic Umbro kit worn between 1982 and 1985 in one of the Reds' greatest periods when they won three titles back-to-back and the treble of European Cup, first division and League Cup in 1984.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker will don an all black strip next term.

"This year’s home kit is incredibly strong," said captain Jordan Henderson.

"I’m really looking forward to wearing it every time we play at our beloved home of Anfield, as a symbol of the pride and passion you have when you’re a Red.

"It’s also a really fitting tribute to one of our greatest managers, Bob Paisley, and is a fantastic way to remember all his success."

It could be the final New Balance Liverpool strip as the club's deal with the American company is set to expire at the end of next season.

Liverpool currently earn around £45m-per-season from the New Balance deal, but Standard Sport understands the club are aiming to bank closer to the £75m-a-year rivals Manchester United have agreed with Adidas.
