It didn’t take long for new Detroit Lions running back C.J. Anderson to learn his new team’s schedule of opponents for the 2019 NFL season.
Anderson led off his Instagram post regarding his signing with the Lions with the aware comment,
Just blessed to have another opportunity. Plus we get Denver and Oakland on the road should be a fun year. Let’s have fun
Anderson spent the first five years of his career playing in Denver for the Broncos, a tenure which includes a Super Bowl win. While he never took the field for Oakland, Anderson was briefly a member of the team in 2018 before they dumped him.
The exact dates aren’t known yet, but the Lions do indeed have road games against the Raiders and Broncos in 2019.
