Leeds United have announced Daniel Farke as their new boss.
The German replaces Sam Allardyce in the Elland Road dugout and was unveiled yesterday after a protracted process.
Th 46-year-old has last managing in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach but was sacked after they finished 10th.
He will now try to get the Whites out of the Championship at the first time of asking - something he'll know a bit about, having also guided Norwich City to second-tier promotion.
"I feel humble at this time, I know the responsibility to fulfil all the expectations and I want to repay the trust shown," Farke told the club website.
"The most important thing is to create a togetherness and unity within this club again and, from today onwards, I will work on it with my staff and players, and I trust our supporters will be there when we need them. I can't wait for the first game of the season."
Leeds face Cardiff City on the opening day of the campaign with a busy summer on the cards in terms of transfers in and out of the club.
His appointment will be of interest to Wales winger Daniel James, who is now back in Yorkshire after spending a season on loan at Fulham.
Farke is a known admirer of the Welshman, having tried to sign the former Swansea City man before he moved to Manchester United from south Wales back in 2019. He says he "always liked him" and explained why he couldn't get a deal over the line for the speedy attacker.
"I’m not surprised by how good James has been," Farke said just after the winger had penned terms for the Old Trafford side.
"I always liked him, but sadly there was no chance for us to get him when Man United called!
"To deliver that quickly on this level says a lot about his character."
It seems with the manager a fan, James could be set to stay at the club for the 2023/24 campaign. James was one of few Wales players to emerge with credit from their last two qualifiers - defeats against Armenia and Turkey.
Under-pressure boss Rob Page will hope James will get regular game-time under his belt this season after struggling to nail down a spot with the Cottagers last term.
