New Lanarkshire pet shop will bring additional bark to town

A new pet shop will open its doors in a Lanarkshire town this weekend.

Woofs & Whiskers, a dog grooming and walking service based in Cambuslang, is setting up shop at Mansion Street in the town.

As well as the day care centre and grooming salon, owner Harriet Leggatt has now decided to expand the business to include a pet shop, selling locally sourced dog treats, chews and toys.

The store will officially launch tomorrow, Saturday, August 6, at 10am and those arriving for the opening day can get a 10 per cent discount on all stock.

There will also be the chance to have a chat about your pet, meet the daycare staff and speak to qualified dog trainer Gayle and qualified dog groomer Katy as well.

Lastly, there will be free Puppichinos for all pets on the day - just remember to bring the dogs paw-ket money to spend there.
