New Kilmarnock burger bar location revealed – and it's not where you'd expect

A new Kilmarnock burger bar will open for business tomorrow.

Meat in the Middle has already brushed aside fast food chain Five Guys with a cheeky marketing poster.

The new Kilmarnock venture is aiming to capitalise on the home delivery market when it officially opens tomorrow at 11am.

A post on their Facebook page today read: "Our soft, toasted brioche buns are baked in France and shipped over.

"The meat in our hamburgers is sourced from local butchers, seasoned, squashed and shaped by hand and then cooked to perfection by our burger loving chefs."

But mystery has surrounded the exact location of this ambitious new eaterie.

Curious diners have been bombarding owners as to where the new burger bar will be based in the town.

And they finally revealed that the venture will be based out of The Clansman pub on John Finnie Street.

Responding to a potential customer, Meat in the Middle said: "If you wish to collect or dine in you can do so within The Clansman.

"At the moment it's only beef burgers. We will introduce veggie and chicken within the next few months."
