The new Juventus home strip has been leaked online, and it breaks a club tradition that goes back 116 years.
The Turin giants have famously worn black and white stripes ever since 1903, when they changed from pink shirts after one of their players, an Englishman called John Savage, was tasked with coming up with new colours for the team after the pink colour routinely faded with washing.
Savage asked a friend of his back home if he could help, and because that friend was a Notts County supporter he sent County-esque black and white striped shirts over to Italy. The club loved them, and thus an iconic strip was born.

They've worn those stripes ever since, but in images that have emerged on Twitter of the squad modelling the 2019/20 Adidas home kit, the stripes have been replaced by a half and half black and white number.
Juve stars Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi are seen in the strip which also features a bright pink line down the middle and a solid black back with white names and numbers.

Most Juve fans responding to @La_Bianconera's tweet showing the kit - which Cristiano Ronaldo and Aaron Ramsey will be seen in next season - didn't seem to happy with it, either.

While '@dottorsq' added: "Really ugly. The worst ever" and '@robydesantis' simply went with "Horrendous."
