New Jordanhill restaurant The Prancing Stag opens this evening

New Jordanhill restaurant The Prancing Stag is set to throw open its doors to the west end of Glasgow this evening.

The team behind the eatery, a family-run venue, say they will be: "preparing modern Scottish food with international inspiration."

They continue: "Using fresh and seasonal Scottish produce, great care has gone into our menu which we hope will suit all tastes and occasions."

The menu includes the likes of pan seared hand dived scallops, twelve hour braised feather blade beef steak, Perthshire lamb rump and braised lamb croquette and blueberry crumble cake.

The Prancing Stag, which is at 1A Ashwood Gardens in Jordanhill, opens at 5pm tonight (Tuesday), and will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
