New Johnnie Walker Princes Street attraction evacuated as Edinburgh fire services attend

The new Johnnie Walker attraction on Princes Street has been evacuated tonight, as emergency services attend the scene.

Fire engines can be seen outside of the Edinburgh whiskey tour and bar building, as people within the venue were evacuated at approximately 9:45pm tonight, after the fire alarm sounded.

A Twitter user posted a photo of the incident, with the caption: "So much for our first visit to @JWPrincesStreet. Evacuated due to a fire alarm before we even tasted our 1st drink! #edinburgh"

The scene shows two fire engines in attendance at the Princes Street address, with customers of the attraction milling around outside, waiting for further instruction.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more comes in.
