New Jersey Governor Chris Christie danced the night away at a Bruce Springsteen concert

New Jersey governor and former GOP presidential candidate Chris Christie was spotted during a rare moment of recreation at a Bruce Springsteen concert in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr Christie has never tried to hide his love for the Springsteen’s music that champions the working class life in the Garden State, and he made no effort to start hiding it at the Monday night show.

Countless concert attendees documented Mr Christie having the time of his life at the concert, belting out lyrics, pumping his fist, and baning on air drums to the signature sounds of The Boss and his E-Street Band.

The Washington Post noted that Mr Christie appeared to be having a “religious experience.”

Unfortunately, Springsteen's feelings for the New Jersey governor are not quite as enthusiastic — regardless of the fact that Mr Christie has been to well over 100 concerts.

The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg documented Mr Christie’s Springsteen fandom.

“Despite heroic efforts by Christie” to befriend Springsteen, Mr Goldberg wrote, “Springsteen, who is still a New Jersey resident, will not talk to him.”
