New James Bond trailer for No Time To Die sees Daniel Craig come face to face with Rami Malek’s terrifying villain

A new trailer for new Bond movie No Time To Die has been revealed, with Daniel Craig coming face to face with Rami Malek’s terrifying villain Safin.

The clip begins with Bond jumping from a bridge during a near-death car chase, before reconnecting with characters from previous films.

“The past isn’t dead,” Craig says in the clip, confronting Lea Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann, who holds a dangerous secret.

We also see Bond speak to Christoph Waltz’s Ernst Stavro Blofeld and meet fellow 00-agent Nomi (Lashana Lynch), but it’s the appearance of Malek’s Safin that proves the biggest moment of the trailer.

The villain, who is seen with facial scars and a mask, looks set to be a worthy adversary in the new film, which comes a whole five years after previous entry Spectre.

The new film is thought to focus on genetic engineering, with Bond coming out of retirement to take on a new case in Jamaica.

No Time to Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, known for his work on True Detective, Beasts of No Nation and Jane Eyre. The film's script has gone through various incarnations, with Fleabag and Killing Eve writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge brought on board to rework it at the start of the year.

No Time To Die is released in cinemas on November 12, having initially been delayed due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
