New ISIS leader 'unmasked' - months after Baghdadi 'died like a dog'

ISIS' new leader is said to have been unmasked tonight, months after Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi "died like a dog" in a raid ordered by President Donald Trump .

Amir Mohammed Abdul Rahman al-Mawli al-Salbi, who is one of the terror group’s founding members, is now the group's tyrant, intelligence sources say.

He has overseen operations around the globe, Guardian reports.

Born into an Iraqi Turkmen family in the town of Tal Afar, al-Salbi is an one of the few non-Arabs among the leadership.

He led the enslavement of Iraq’s Yazidi minority and rose through the ranks quickly, it's believed.

And al-Salbi has at least one son, it's claimed.

Al-Baghdadi was killed in October during a military raid in Syria.

It was reported Baghdadi detonated a suicide vest after realising he had no chance of escape during the US special forces raid.

The hate-filled thug spent his final moments in "utter fear, total panic and dread," it's said.

His two wives were also reportedly killed in the firefight, with no injuries to US forces.

The hero military dog used in the raid suffered injuries, Mr Trump said.

"Our canine, as they call -- I call it a dog, a beautiful dog, a talented dog -- was injured and brought back," the President said.

US Army General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said: "The dog, the canine, the military working dog, performed a tremendous service, as they all do, in a variety of situations."
