New iPhone may be "completely wireless" with no charging port

Apple's next iPhone could go "completely wireless" for this first time ever - with ZERO ports for charging or listening to music.

That's according to analyst Ming-chi Kuo who claims the 'portless' version will be launched in 2021  and added that there will be four new OLED iPhone models next year.

The top expert also claims Apple will introduce two 6.10inch, a 5.4-inch and a 6.7-inch OLED iPhone models in 2020.

The phones will feature 5G connectivity, with the differences among them, other than screen sizes, also the quality of the cameras, reported 9to5mac .

The 5.4-inch and a lower-end 6.1-inch OLED iPhones will have dual-camera setups on the back, whereas the high-end 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch models will include triple-lens camera setups and time-of-flight 3D sensing technology, it is said.

But Kuo said the design for the 2020 phones will be 'similar to the iPhone 4'.

An insider told him that Apple will release a 4.7-inch iPhone SE 2 in a similar form as iPhone 8.

In 2021, he expects Apple to launch iPhone SE2 Plus and a new model without a lightning port.

Kuo said the 'highest-end model' would 'provide the completely wireless experience', with no ports on the phone at all.

As for the iPhone SE2, he said it will feature an all-screen design without a Home button and Face ID authentication.

Apple is reportedly planning to 'relocate' the Touch ID to the power button on the side of the phone.

Kuo, who has correctly predicted the details of the 2012 MacBook Pro with retina display and Touch ID and iPhone 5s in 2013, has been dubbed 'the most accurate Apple analyst in the world'.

At this stage, Kuo does not have any details on the pricing of these phones but he said it's likely Apple will launch the iPhone SE2 in the first half of 2020 and four OLED devices in the fall.
