A new Jurassic experience is opening in Merseyside this month.
Families will be able to uncover the secrets left behind by dinosaurs millions of years ago at Go Jurassic.
Based at Go Outside in Formby, the new experience will allow families to attend Ranger School before heading out on a grand adventure.

At Ranger School you’ll learn all about what lies ahead on the newly archeological dig, before heading into Formby Woods to dig for fossils, identify dinosaur footprints and even snap a selfie with a dinosaur.
There are four interactive activity stations to enjoy, followed by a 20 minute live action show featuring special effects, smoke and walk-about dinosaurs.
Complete all of your tasks and you may even be invited to visit the top secret jungle lab, where you’ll find a team of scientists and rangers hard at work to turn a fossil into a live dinosaur.
The new attraction is suitable for all ages, though some elements may prove a little scary for some.
The experience lasts around 90 minutes as visitors will need to check in with the rangers before their allocated time slot.
On site there are a number of caterers and food can be pre-ordered via the Go Jurassic website .
