Instagram has introduced a new sticker that lets you start a conversation with a group of friends directly from your story.
The new "Chat" sticker will appear in your sticker collection, next to the Quiz sticker, when you update your app to the latest version.
If you add the Chat sticker to your story, it effectively acts as an invitation to your followers to join a group conversation.
Friends who view your story can tap the sticker to request to join the chat, and you can view their requests in your Stories viewer list.
You can then choose who you want to chat with and a new chat is created in Instagram Direct. You can also end the chat at any time.
"Whether you want to discuss weekend plans, or your favourite summer song, you can use the sticker to start a convo in Direct," said Instagram.
The new sticker is available in the UK from today. You just need to update your app to start using it.
