The first images have emerged of North Staffordshire's newest leisure facility.
Entrepreneur Mo Chaudry is spearheading the development of a brand new 'M Club' gym in Stoke-on-Trent - and these newly-released images show what it could look like.
The new fitness centre will be spread across three storeys of a building which is currently under construction next to Waterworld on Festival Park.
Once complete it will boast fitness studios, a ladies-only area and a 50-metre running track as well as a free-weights area, a functional training zone and a swimming pool.
It will be kitted out with all of the latest equipment provided by Cheshire-based Pulse Fitness.
The development is part of a multi-million pound upgrade taking place at Waterworld including the opening of four new super rides and a wave pool.
Speaking to StokeonTrentLive, Mo Chaudry said: "The internal fit-out of the fitness club has already started and we are aiming to be ready and open for April.
"We are kitting it out with all new fitness equipment which will boast all of the latest technology, including virtual reality and mobile apps.
"This is the first purpose-built private leisure facility to be built in North Staffordshire in 20 years, so it is a really exciting time for us.
"We offer our customers a better product than any of our competitors. We have got the edge over other water parks, but we cannot rest on our laurels and be complacent about it.
"We want to be the tourism and leisure hub of North Staffordshire and we will do that by eventually becoming the Waterworld Resort."
