New identity, new kit and new aims for Vale 2005s

Vale of Leven 2005s are set for the new season, with a new identity, new kit and new sponsors.

Having made the decision to join up with one of the most historic names in Scottish football after previously being affiliated with Dumbarton United, the club’s coaches felt that linking up with the Vale following promotion to the Paisley and Johnstone District League will give their players the best possible chance of progression.

Club representative Jason Hewins said: “Vale of Leven FC will provide our young players with an iconic name, access to excellent coaches and a formal pathway to senior football at the highest level through the under-19s, under-21s and into senior football - something we thought was very important for our players.

“The opportunity to enhance our adventure into playing under-15 football in the highest tier of arguably the best league in Scotland, will require a development in our footballing ability. We believe this will be best served alongside the Vale at their Millburn home.”

Ahead of the new season, the new team were delighted to welcome Clyde Process Valves as their new home kit sponsor, whilst Cedarwood Wealth Management continued their support as away kit sponsor and Dunbritton Housing Association became their equipment sponsor.
