'New Huddersfield Town kit': Paddy Power sponsored home shirt branded like a 'hen party' but the joke is on Twitter

Huddersfield Town released their new "kit" just days after announcing their shirt sponsors for the upcoming season - and it's fair to say the reaction has been mixed.

The club announced on Monday that Paddy Power will be their new sponsors for the 2019/20 season, marking the bookmakers first venture into shirt sponsorship at this level.

On Tuesday Huddersfield - who will be playing in the Championship next season - unveiled their new kit which features traditional blue and white stripes but with a huge Paddy Power "sash" splashed across the front.

And true to form fans have been shocked at the decision, with the kit drawing unflattering comparisons to everything from a hen party to "the worst kit ever".

But shortly after the announcement it was revealed the whole launch was a joke and the kit is in fact a promo for the bookies. Here, we take a look at some of the best reactions to Huddersfield's "new kit".
