New HQ and recruitment drive for Stiltz

A home lifts company has moved to a new head office and launched a recruitment drive in the Black Country.

Stiltz has relocated to a new purpose-built, 36,000 sq ft warehouse on the Pensnett Estate, in Kingswinford.

The new base contains storage space, a showroom, training facility and an R&D centre alongside office space for customer service and technical teams.

The company is also on the hunt for new staff to be based at the HQ, including engineers and an IT apprentice through a partnership with Dudley College.

Stiltz was founded in 2010 by Australians Cameron Gillespie and Lachlan Faulkner after they moved to the UK to launch the company and in April was awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

The firm said it was able to continue trading through the coronavirus lockdown and maintained levels of urgent care to existing customers and fast tracked installations for those considered most vulnerable.

Mr Faulkner said: "Despite the damaging effects of covid-19 on the global economy, our business is currently thriving.

"We adapted quickly to the new environment, utilising technology which enabled us to assist both existing and new customers, continue with our extensive R&D programme and expand our team.

"The fact we are recruiting is testament to the strategic planning and positive attitude of the whole Stiltz team.

"We are powering through and we are proud to be achieving positive sales figures while creating a number of new roles throughout the UK."
