New homes brand What House? agrees partnership with publishing giant Reach plc

Leading new homes brand What House? has announced a new partnership deal with Reach plc that will see the leading publisher sponsor a series of major housebuilding awards.

Reach - the UK's largest commercial, national and regional news publisher - will become a major sponsor of the 2022 WhatHouse? Awards as well as media sponsor for the forthcoming Midlands New Homes Show and the North West New Homes Show in association with Whathouse.com.

The commercial partnership will see an extensive B2C and B2B campaign utilising Reach verticals to promote the brand of whathouse.com as well as the new home shows this autumn.

Meanwhile What House? will promote the Reach brand to the UK housebuilding sector and showcase the extensive inventory they have to offer.

Reach owns titles including the Mirror, the Express, the Manchester Evening News, BirminghamLive and Wales Online - as well as BusinessLive.

Daniel Hill, managing director of What House?, said: “This is a great partnership and we’re delighted to be working with such a respected and influential media company. By using our content, display, data, programmatic trading desk and our social outreach, allied to the millions of consumers and invaluable in-market data to use from the Reach network both locally and nationally, the brand of What House? as well as the marketing of the shows will be extensive and penetrative.”

Sarah Pullen, commercial director for field sales and events at Reach said: "The What House? team’s objective is to engage at scale with our audience who have expressed an interest in property with relevant content.

"Our audience expertise gives us the ability to do just that through our trusted local online newsbrands embedded within the community, and our digital platforms like InYourArea.

“We’re delighted to be working with What House? to create awareness of these events amongst a crucial audience at a hyper-local level.”

Exhibitors and sponsors will now benefit from extensive marketing support via regional press, local online media, social media platforms, database promotions, TV advertising and a dedicated PR campaign.

There are already a number of exhibitors and main sponsors on board for the New Home Shows including BT, Sky and Redrow Homes, Hayfield Homes, Vistry, Home Reach and Crest Nicholson. Property entrepreneur and TV personality Laura Hamilton will be live at the shows and an ambassador for the events.
