A shy dog is looking for a new place to call home.
Blake, a Weimaraner cross, is currently living at Dogs Trust’s West Calder Rehoming Centre.
And his carers say the seven year old and loves nothing more than to put his nose to the ground and spend his time exploring the great outdoors.
A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said the charity is keen to see Blake settled with a caring new owner as soon as they can.
She said: “Blake is a sweet and sensitive boy with a lot of love to give.
“He can be shy and unsure around new people.
“However, once he knows and trusts you, he is always happy to receive plenty of cuddles and he adores a fuss.
“Active boy Blake would love to have a garden of his own where he can run around, play and investigate.
“Blake is a gentle giant and he would love to find new owners who enjoy exploring the countryside as much as he does.
“He can become overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of city life and so he needs a quiet rural home, without many visitors, where he can enjoy his own space.
“Blake can live with children aged 16 years old and above and he would prefer to be the only pet living in the home.”

Dogs Trust West Calder are set to host their annual fun day at West Lothian College, Livingston, on Sunday, August 25, from 12pm to 3pm.
They are inviting dog lovers from across West Lothian to go along and join in the fun dog show.
