A property consultancy in Birmingham has relocated to a new office in the city's business district.
MK2 Real Estate acquired 57 Cornwall Street from developer Adapt in an undisclosed deal earlier this year and has now completed its move from nearby Edmund Street following an internal fitout.
The 4,100 sq ft ground floor office sits at the corner of New Market Street and is part of the Lightwell development which also contains apartments and a David Lloyd gym.
The company currently has 19 staff and this move has more than doubled MK2's office space, meaning it can accommodate up to 30 people.
Co-founder and director Mark Johnson said: "We had outgrown our previous office and needed more room to accommodate our expansion.
"Three years ago, we set ourselves the target of being a £4.5 million turnover business with 30 staff, within five years.
"We're currently about halfway, both in terms of headcount and turnover, and the new office will help achieve our goal.
"Having our own office is a significant investment in the long-term future of the business as well as a commitment to having a physical presence in the city centre which is important to us and our clients."
The fitout was managed by MK2 Real Estate's own building consultancy team and carried out by contractor City Office Interiors.
Property consultancy Creative Retail advised Adapt on the sale.
