New hires to be made as credit technology group opens new Nottingham office

Credit technology firm Vision Blue has opened an office in Nottingham as it expands into new markets.

Industry expert Martin Prigent has been appointed to lead a 12-strong team at the firm's new base in Castle Marina, with plans to hire more employees in the next 12 months.

The announcement comes as the Dublin-based group seeks to move into new areas including personal insolvency and personal money management.

Mr Prigent, director of Vision Blue, said: “I am delighted to be joining Vision Blue at this exciting time for the insolvency market.

"Vision Blue recognises that the market needs to modernise and apply technology to help the consumer and creditor manage their insolvencies more effectively.

"I look forward to working with the experienced team in Nottingham to deliver solutions to these challenges in the market."

The company is set to launch new insolvency management platforms soon.

The move has been supported by alternative asset investment management group Pollen Street Capital.

James Scott, a partner at the firm, said: "The opening of a new office in Nottingham, together with the build out of the team there, will provide a great base for further development of new products as well as coverage of a number of core UK customers."
