A new restaurant hidden over a popular Liverpool deli has opened and it has serious "vegan goals".
Brunchin' is set above Paolo and Donata's Deli off Williamson Square in Richmond Street and opened on Boxing Day.
The venue will be serving up healthy breakfasts, brunch and afternoon and evening bites with lots of vegan and gluten-free options on offer.
Antonio Cillo, whose family moved from Italy to Liverpool when he was 13, also run the deli downstairs, plus Il Forno on Duke Street and Crust on Bold Street.
The 21-year-old from Wavertree said that the space above the deli was empty so he decided to start his own business.
He told the ECHO: "We rent the space and it wasn't being used. I've just graduated from uni in business management so I thought I'd start my own business and see how it went.
"We were supposed to open in November but the building wasn't ready but we launched a few days and we've had a good response so far."
The restaurant's Instagram says it has serious "vegan goals" and the menu reflects this with dishes including pulled jackfruit, cauliflower steak and vegan butternut mac and cheese with smoky shitake bacon.
As well as these options, there's plenty for meat-eaters too including a breakfast burger with sausages and bacon, brie and bacon hash and that Italian staple - beef lasagna.
In addition to the healthy alternatives, customers can also try out a revitalising smoothie from the Brunchin' juice bar including boosting shots and cold-pressed juices.
There are also evening bites to snack on plus a variety of desserts to indulge on including vegan Biscoff cheesecake, chocolate and pistachio tart and tiramisu.
Brunchin' is open Monday to Sunday 8.30am to 8.30pm with breakfast served from 8.30am to 3pm and brunch from 12pm to 8.30pm.
