MORE EDUCATION:
Principal Erin Marmont said the opening had been a significant occasion for the school, which now has more than 600 students.
"The hall is far more than a building," Mrs Marmont said.
"It represents what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose - to create the very best environment for our children to learn, grow and belong."
Mrs Marmont said the hall would serve generations of students, giving a special shout-out to on-site manager Ray Bodman from Intermain, for his expertise during the construction period and "genuine rapport with our students and staff on a day-to-day basis".
"Our hall is a place where we will gather to celebrate milestones, share performances, mark important moments and come together in times of reflection and joy," she said.
