New Gulliver's £37m resort opening with dinosaur zone and unicorn rooms

A new £37m family resort is set to open featuring dinosaur rides and unicorn-themed rooms.

Gulliver's Valley Resort and Theme Park launches in late spring this year, aimed at families with kids aged two to 13.

The site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, will feature more than 50 rides and attractions across multiple themed areas, including an indoor climbing centre, an indoor play area and a Lost Jurassic World area, which will be boast all kinds of dinosaurs.

There will also be forest classrooms available in the education and ecology centres.

Julie Dalton, managing director of Gulliver's, said: “Phase one of the five-phase development, also including a Toy Land and Smugglers Wharf, is now well underway and due to open to the public in spring 2020."

Accommodation options available when the park opens include unicorn and princess suites along with Western Cabins and Lost World Lodges.

There will also be various packages for groups including core group experiences, which are available to book now, with plans for other options such as group sleepover adventures to be announced soon.

Julie added: "Gulliver's Valley Theme Park Resort will be a great place for families with young children to visit for the day or for a short break. We are really looking forward to opening the gates to our fourth theme park this spring.”
