New grandma Sia has shown her public support for Paris Jackson.
Michael Jackon's daughter's latest role as Jesus in upcoming film Habit has sparked an outcry.
More than 260,000 people signed a petition to stop the new movie from being released.
Habit charted the story of a girl with a Jesus fetish (Paris) who gets tangled up in a drug deal gone wrong and escapes masquerading as a nun.
Her costume for the film was made up of “a nose ring, tousled waves and a traditional robe”, according to reports.
But chart-topping Sia took some of the heat off Paris as she showed her public support for the actress.
The new grandmother sent her love to the King of Pop's daughter and urged her to keep going amid the backlash.
She wrote: "Dear @ParisJackson I love you, keep going. I believe you are a good person."
Admirers flooded the tweet with comments remarking upon how sweet Sia was for supporting everyone.
"You're an angel, thank u for always support everyone, you deserve heaven Keep Going!"

"You’re so sweet sia ! i love you and support you."
Habit was branded “Christianophobic garbage" in the circulating petition to block the movie, according to The Guardian.
Also Bella Thorne and Gavin Rossdale star in the movie.
Its release date has not been made public.
In her personal life, Sia has just become a grandmother aged 44.
One of the two boys the Australian singer adopted last year out of foster care has become a dad.
She said to DJ Zane Lowe on his Apple Music podcast: “My youngest son just had two babies."
She then declared: “I’m a f**king grandma!”
