Glasgow's latest food spot is set to open next week with the arrival of Sherry's Smokehouse.
The venue, which specialises in smoking 'high quality meat', will open at 417 Shields Road next Friday, January 14.
Primarily operating as a takeaway but with the option for sit-in dining too, Sherry's will serve a whole host of delicious meats as part of a regularly rotated menu.
Speaking to Glasgow Live ahead of the opening, owner Sherry told us how the idea for the smokehouse formulated after coming across a video in YouTube three years ago.
He said: "It all started with a YouTube brisket video. I was thinking this looks really nice, I want to try some and there was nowhere you could buy it.
"So I bought a cheap £40 smoker from Amazon and done my first cook and I was hooked.
"After this I went and invested in a good smoker which I never told my other half about, she wasn't pleased!
"But that was when I fell in love with cooking and here we are three years later."
Sherry has launched Instagram and Facebook pages teasing Glaswegians with pictures of the mouthwatering meats he'll be serving up from next week.
And asked more about what people can expect he said: "For our opening menu we have Canadian grain fed brisket, Irish beef ribs and some barbecue glazed sheep ribs and we'll offer barbecue sides and burgers too."
