Glasgow music legend George Bowie has reached the top 10 of the iTunes singles chart with a new collaboration single released in aid of charity.
The track Heroes (feat. Stephanie Cheape) by GBX & Sparkos, has climbed to 10th place in the chart on the very same day it was released online.
All money raised from downloads of the cover of the classic David Bowie track, off his 1977 album 'Heroes', will be split between NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and Carers Trust Scotland - the largest provider of comprehensive carers support services in Scotland.
George Bowie tweeted: "Can't believe we've gone top 10. Thank you all so much" after finding out the song's placing on the charts earlier this evening.
