A new café opening in Edinburgh aims to celebrate geek culture, with board game evenings and free-to-read comic books.
Geek Retreat is opening a new branch in Nicolson Square next month, after setting up other cafés in cities around the UK including Glasgow.
Their grand opening day will be on Saturday, November 9, and staff will be hosting a number of fun games and competitions to celebrate.
Later they will be holding card game evenings for Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh.
They also sell board games and Dungeons & Dragons miniatures.
On the menu you can find a colourful selection of geek-themed milkshakes as well as coffee, burgers and paninis.
The Geek Retreat says: "On November 9th Geek Retreat Edinburgh will open its doors for the very first time and we would be delighted to welcome you to our newest store.
"We'll have comics, milkshakes, games and competitions. Can't wait to see you there."
