It's been a year since craft beer pub Head of Steam chugged into Nottingham - and to mark the first anniversary a new gaming bar is opening upstairs today.
Called Power Up, the top floor will be open throughout the week and until 2am at the weekends.
For a fiver punters will be able to play shuffleboards, American pool, electronic darts, beer pong, table tennis and retro arcade games for 30 minutes - with a new food menu and cocktail menu to boot.
A new take on its burgers includes the Moving Mountains burger, one of more than a dozen new vegan options, and a twist on its classic pizzas.
The dog-friendly bar is also putting its own spin on an Espresso Martini and a tequila-inspired Bloody Mary but if cocktails aren't your cup of tea, then there's a dizzy array of 230 beers to choose from.
The top floor has had a graffiti makeover by Nathan Bainbridge, aka Small Kid, adding to the eclectic mix of railway and beer signs on the walls of the boozer in High Pavement, in the Lace Market.
Power Up will be open throughout the week from 5pm (except on Sunday when the pub is closed) with late night opening until 2am Fridays and Saturdays, and 1am on Thursdays.
David Scott, head of Camerons Brewery, which owns the Head of Steam, said: "We are so lucky to have such a great space at the Head of Steam venue in Nottingham, and it is perfect for this new venture. We often run ‘game nights’ at the bar, which have been really successful, and so we wanted to really take those to the next level.
“Competitive socialising is becoming more and more appealing to those looking for something a bit different, it’s perfect for after-work drinks, groups of friends, or even a first date, and offers a new twist on the normal night at the pub. We hope it’ll be a great place for people to let of some ‘steam’ after a long day at work.”
The Head of Steam will still open as normal on the ground floor, continuing with its craft beer and live music offering.

The concept is already proving successful in our Headingley venue in Leeds, so we hope it goes down as well here.”
