New footage shows Conor McGregor allegedly stamping on and smashing phone in Miami

High-quality footage of the incident where Conor McGregor allegedly smashed a fan's phone in Miami last month has emerged.

The new security footage, released by TMZ Sports, shows McGregor greet fans before appearing to slap the phone from the fan's hand and stamp on it.

It comes as McGregor's lawyers entered not guilty pleas in a US court for charges against him this evening - with the trial date is set for next month.

McGregor was not present in Miami-Dade County Court for the hearing.

His case is due to come before the court again on April 30, with the trial date slated for May 13.

The Crumlin man could face a maximum of six years in prison if found guilty - but is likely to get away with a slap on the wrist if he is convicted.

The 30 year-old was arrested on March 11 and charged with one count of strong-arm robbery and one count of criminal mischief after allegedly slapping away and standing on Ahmed Abdirzak’s phone.

McGregor, who wasn't required to appear in person today, was initially facing up to 20 years behind bars, however, prosecutors have since reduced the charges.

The case is before the Miami Dade County Court for arraignment - with the degree of one felony charge lowered and the other converted to a misdemeanour.
