New footage reveals what Harry Kane told Hugo Lloris in tunnel was key to Spurs' new stadium win

New footage appears to suggest that Harry Kane gave Hugo Lloris some helpful advice before their Premier League win against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Spurs released a new behind the scenes video from their new stadium's opening game on Wednesday night and around six minutes into the video, Kane is shown waiting in the tunnel for Lloris to emerge from the changing room.

When the Frenchman arrives, the England captain appears to talk to the Spurs captain about the noise coming from the massive 17,500-seater single tier south stand in the new stadium and then it sounds like he suggests playing towards that goal in the second half if Lloris were to win the coin toss before kick-off.

In the end Spurs did play towards that south stand in the second half and both of their strikes came in that goal as Son Heung-min made history with the first Premier League goal at the new stadium and then Christian Eriksen added a second.

Here's the full thirteen minute video released by the club on Sunday showing all the behind the scenes action on the big day:

After Arsenal's 1-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday afternoon, third place is now back in Spurs' hands, with four of their final six matches to be played at the new stadium.

Arsenal have the reverse with four away games, against Watford, Wolves, Leicester and Burnley, in what looks set to be a dramatic final chapter to the season with the Champions League quarter-finals legs against Manchester City thrown in too.
