A horrifying new video has emerged of a girl – reportedly the younger sister of the Syrian refugee attacked in viral footage – allegedly being assaulted in a school playground.
The video shows a girl standing in a playground chatting to a friend. Another girl then approaches her from behind and appears to shove her.
The stunned victim turns round, only to scream when a second girl comes at her and chases her down a grass slope.
The second attacker then pushes her to the ground and jumps on top of her. As fellow pupils scream, the girl appears to hit the victim.
It is not clear when or where the attack happened.
Mail Online reported she is the younger sister of the 15-year-old boy who was attacked at a school in Huddersfield.
Footage of the assault went viral on social media, with thousands of people expressing disgust at the attack - which happened on October 25 - in which he is thrown to the ground by a boy and threatened with drowning.
A 16-year-old suspect will appear at youth court in “due course” in connection with the attack after being interviewed by West Yorkshire Police.
After footage of the girl's attack emerged on Wednesday, the paper reported family lawyer Mohammed Akunjee as saying: “Last Friday she tried to self-harm.
“She has been abused for around a year-and-a-half and some of it has been racial referring to 'Arabs' and where she came from.
“This attack on her also took place yesterday and the family have been told that the girl who attacked her has been excluded from school.
“The family are very upset about the whole matter.”
After the video of the attack on the 15-year-old boy emerged this week, an online crowdfunding page for the victim received £50,000 in donations in the space of a day.
