New flight route to Paris announced for Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Aiport has announced a new route from Belfast to Paris which will commence next month.

Spanish airline Vueling, an International Airlines Group member, confirmed their new services from Belfast International Airport to Paris Orly which will commence on November 2 and will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The introduction of the low-cost airline to the International Airport will be a further boost to Northern Ireland's travel industry in recovery from the pandemic.

Back in April, Vueling announced they were making a return to Belfast with flights between George Best City Aiport and Barcelona but it is understood that this service has been withdrawn from Friday.

Graham Keddie, Belfast International Airport managing director said: “We are thrilled to have Vueling, an IAG member airline, commence services from Belfast International Airport.

"This is a real boost for the local travel industry. The last 18 months have been the toughest the industry has ever experienced.

"This new service is a vote of confidence both in Northern Ireland and Belfast International Airport."
