Wizz Air has announced a new flight route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) to Tirana.
The service to the Albanian capital starts in the Winter and will be the latest in the ultra low-cost airline's growing network of flight routes from the city's airport.
Central and Eastern Europe's leading low cost carrier already runs 14 routes from LJLA to places such as Budapest, Vilnius and Rome.

Liverpool will be the only airport outside of London to offer direct flights to the Albanian capital.
The airport's Director of Aviation Development Paul Winfield said: "Throughout the pandemic we have worked closely with Wizz Air who have continued to explore new opportunities for services all across Europe.
"As we continue to recover from the pandemic, we are pleased to be able to create more opportunities for passengers from across the North West and North Wales to travel to a growing number of European destinations with the added convenience of flying direct from Liverpool.”
The service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport is due to start from December 10, with three-times-weekly flights departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
