Everton’s search for a new manager is underway after Marco Silva’s dismissal last Thursday and there is a new favourite to take over according to bookmakers.
Unsurprisingly, after Duncan Ferguson’s win as caretaker boss over the weekend, his odds for getting the job full-time have shortened to 11/4, but he is only the second favourite after Shanghai SIPG FC’s Portuguese coach Vítor Pereira.
Early favourite David Moyes, who was leading the betting odds shortly after Silva was dismissed, is now down to fourth favourite, behind ex-Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac.
