New Era announced the Denver Broncos’ official hat for the 2019 NFL draft on Tuesday. The caps are available on NFL Shop and range from $29.99 to $37.99. If he attends the draft, the Broncos’ first-round pick will wear this hat on stage after being selected by Denver:
The design drew inspiration from Denver’s city flag.
“Celebrate the local roots of your team with this year’s flag-inspired On-Stage Draft Collection,” says NFL Shop’s description of the hat. “A bold representation of your team, the Draft Collection allows you to show the world what it really means to be a Denver Broncos fan.
“This 9FIFTY Adjustable Cap features iconic flag art that incorporates an embroidered team logo on the crown. The NFL100 mark on the rear completes the ultimate draft cap for an ultimate fan.”
Not all Broncos fans will enjoy this year’s hat, but the design certainly could be worse — just ask the Raiders.
The league made city-inspired caps for all 32 teams. Because the hats were made when the Raiders’ 2019 location was unknown, New Era gave the Silver and Black an American Flag-themed cap.
The Raiders are expected to play in Oakland this season while the team’s Las Vegas stadium is being built.
