New entertainment centre promises to bring Bulwell the 'complete casino experience'

A brand-new entertainment centre has opened in Bulwell, creating new jobs in the process.

Gaming company Merkur Slots says it will bring 'the complete casino experience to Bulwell' after opening the venue in Main Street.

Mark Schertle, chief operating officer, said: "Bringing a new state-of-the-art entertainment centre to Bulwell is an exciting development for Merkur Slots. We pride ourselves on our continued investment in the high street, while giving customers a unique gaming experience."

The venue has digital slot machines, which the firm says have emphasis on low stake gaming and pay-outs ranging from £5 to £500, there are free refreshments and a library of new and classic games.

Mr Schertle continued: "It also means a lot to us to be able to support the local community and economy through the creation of new job opportunities at the venue.

"We are hoping to create at least 500 jobs nationwide by the end of this year."

The Bulwell venue has Team Member roles available with immediate start which can be applied for via the firm's website. The roles are for 20 hours a week at a pay rate of £8.99 per hour.
