New emoji is released and people's filthy minds have ruined it already

You've got to feel sorry for the aubergine and the peach emojis.

They began life as innocent depictions of a simple fruits before being transformed into filthy symbols by rampant sexters.

So much so that Facebook and Instagram have banned the two emojis , as well as the water drip, for being too 'sexually suggestive'.

And now, it appears, they might have another poor victim to add to the list.

The bible of emojis, Emojipedia, tweeted to reveal the release of a host of new options, including the trio of person kneeling, woman kneeling and man kneeling.

They could be doing anything right? Like meditating or taking a closer look at the floor. Totally normal.

It took approximately one second for the new emojis to ruined forever and we don't need to tell you exactly where people's minds went.

"Yeah nahhh this emoji gonna get abused with the eggplant," said one.

A second replied: "I’m sure everyone will use this emoji in pure and wholesome ways only.

Use it responsibly, please (Getty)

A third added: "When I went to bed I was like… she even got the f***ing ponytail."

It looks like we've lost another one. RIP.

In slightly more positive emoji news, Apple recently released 398 new characters , including the addition of two people holding hands, offering users to select the skin tone and gender for each person.

For food lovers there's new ingredients including garlic, falafel, an ice cube and a carton of apple juice.

There's also eight new animals, including two extra dogs (you can never have enough), a orangutan, an otter, sloth, flamingo, skunk and oyster.

Let's hope they don't ruin those ones, too.
